Lucknow: Out of the 42 cases, 11 were resolved at a Janata Adalat organised by the LDA on Thursday.
Aditya Yadav, a resident of Telibagh, said his 800 sqft house was sealed by the LDA in Feb 2024 following a complaint lodged by his neighbour. At the camp, the LDA admitted that the house was wrongly sealed as no map approval was needed for houses to be constructed on 800 sq ft area.Another complainant Lalaji Srivastava, reported that his boundary wall on 2,000 sqft of agricultural land in
Gosainganj Kasimpur was demolished by the LDA without prior notice. The wall was meant to protect crop from cattle. Gokaran Nath Yadav from Telibagh Kharika reported illegal construction behind Kaka Market. Though the site was sealed, and handed over to PGI police, violators had resumed the construction work. LDA secretary Vivek Srivastava instructed enforcement officers to take immediate action in the matter. Additional secretary Gyanendra Verma also attended the camp.
