Gujarat HSC and GUJCET result 2025: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has officially declared the results for the Class 12 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations today, May 5, 2025, at 10:30 AM. The announcement includes results for both the Science and General streams, as well as the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2025 scores.

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) announced the Class 12 results for both Science and General streams, reflecting an overall improvement in student performance compared to last year. The Science stream recorded a pass percentage of 83.51%, up by 1.06% from 2024. Of the 100,575 students who appeared, boys slightly outshone girls with pass rates of 83.79% and 83.20% respectively.
District-wise, Gondal posted the highest Science stream success at 96.6%, while Dahod trailed with just 54.48%. Group-wise, Group A (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) students had a notable pass rate of 91.9%, whereas Group B (Biology, Physics, Chemistry) achieved 78.74%. In terms of language mediums, Gujarati and English medium students performed almost equally, securing 83.77% and 83.49% respectively.
The General stream saw even better outcomes, with 93.07% of students passing the examination—an increase of 1.14% from the previous year. Girls continued to lead with a 95.23% pass percentage, significantly higher than the 90.78% recorded for boys. Notably, centres like Mithapur, Chandrala, and Sapreda achieved a perfect 100% pass rate, while Khawda posted the lowest at 52.56%.
English medium students in the General stream marginally outperformed Gujarati medium counterparts, registering a 93.97% pass rate.
