Actor and Punjab Kings co-owner Preity Zinta recently shared with fans that she is unwell ahead of her IPL team's match Bengaluru. She took to social media to express how she was feeling, revealing that she had a sleepless night due to a fever. Despite being under the weather, Preity remained cheerful and tried to lighten the mood by saying she would “pretend it’s cricket fever.”
In her post on X (formerly Twitter), Preity explained that, Preity wrote, “I’m sure it’s all the hectic travel, excessive heat n air conditioning exposure & constantly changing hotel rooms that has brought on the fever. It’s never fun when you are sick & having a sleepless night. Thank god mom is coming to see me & the game tomorrow (heart eyes emoji).”
Preity wrote that she hoped she could make it to the stadium despite feeling unwell. She also took a moment to send love to all the “night owls” following her updates, before signing off by saying she was going to try and rest and ignore the “fake news” going around online.
