Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh got divorced in 2004 and their son Ibrahim Ali Khan was really young that time. Sara Ali Khan was still slightly older than him. In a recent interview, Ibrahim has opened up on the divorce of his parents and if at all it impacted him. Ibrahim recently made his debut with ‘Nadaaniyan’ opposite Khushi Kapoor. Opening up on the divorce of his parents, Ibrahim said in a chat with GQ, “I was four or five years old, so I don’t remember much. It was probably different for Sara as she was older. But my mom and dad have done a great job of ensuring I didn’t feel the pain that comes with a broken home. I never saw them lose their cool at each other. Some things are just not meant to be.” Saif is now married to Kareena Kapoor Khan and they have two children, Taimur and Jeh. Ibrahim added, “Now my dad is much happier with Bebo (Kareena Kapoor) and I’ve got two very handsome and naughty brothers. And my mom is the best mother ever. She takes great care of me, and I live with her. It’s all good.”

He also spoke about time spent with Taimur and Jeh in this interview. He said, “When we’re all just hanging out at home, Taimur will be like, ‘I want to play on the iPad.’ He just gets it for an hour a day, but that’s how it works these days.” Ibrahim also felt sad about how small children of stars cannot have a normal childhood as they are being papped. Taimur and Jeh have been the favourites of the paps. Ibrahim said, “With social media and getting papped all the time, I feel bad. Jeh’s so small; he’s four years old, but he walks out and he’s constantly papped. He’s a good kid, so he’ll say hi to the photographers. But why do it to the kids? I don’t think this generation can have a normal childhood like we did.” After Saif was attacked recently, they have requested the paps to not click pictures of Taimur and Jeh due to security concerns.
