As per trade analyst Sacnilk, the movie collected an estimated Rs 5.75 crore on Day 10 of its release. This strong performance follows a robust opening week, where the film amassed Rs 119.15 crore, with the Tamil version contributing the lion’s share. The film maintained its momentum into the second weekend, matching its Friday collection and pushing its total India net earnings to an impressive Rs 130.65 crore.

On Saturday, April 19, 2025, 'Good Bad Ugly' recorded an overall Tamil occupancy of 36.16%. The day started with a moderate 21.18% turnout for morning shows, which steadily increased as the day progressed. Afternoon shows saw 36.99% occupancy, evening shows climbed to 38.54%, and night shows peaked at a remarkable 47.94%.
The Telugu version of the film also showed steady engagement, with an overall occupancy of 17.66% on the same day. The morning shows began with an 18.71% turnout, dipped slightly to 15.40% in the afternoon, and then stabilized in the evening and night shows at 18.29% and 18.25% respectively. While the Telugu numbers are more modest compared to the Tamil version, they show the film's cross-regional appeal.

Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, the film is a high-octane action entertainer that brings together a powerhouse cast featuring Ajith Kumar, Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Das, Rahul Dev, Yogi Babu, Priya Prakash Varrier, Tinnu Anand, Jackie Shroff, Sunil Varma, and Sayaji Shinde.
The film is about AK, also known as "The Red Dragon," a notorious Mumbai crime boss who chooses to surrender to the police in 2007 in hopes of leaving his violent life behind and reuniting with his family. After spending 18 years in prison, AK is released and looks forward to making up for lost time with his family. However, AK's plans for a peaceful family life are shattered when Vihaan is suddenly arrested and accused of drug use.
