The 'RRR' actor is gearing up for his next film, 'Peddi', where he will portray an athlete skilled in both cricket and wrestling. During his London visit, a fan surprised him with a gift closely related to his upcoming role.During his visit to London, Ram Charan was warmly greeted by fans who showed their admiration in a unique way. Inspired by the first glimpse of his upcoming film 'Peddi', the fan gave him a cricket bat, which the actor graciously accepted and signed the bat.About 'Peddi''Peddi', directed by Buchi Babu Sana, is a rural sports drama where Ram Charan plays an athlete. The film also stars Janhvi Kapoor in the female lead role, alongside a strong supporting cast including Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu Sharma, and Satya.
The music of the film is composed by the Oscar-winning AR Rahman. The film’s teaser, released on Ram Navami, showed Ram Charan in a rustic avatar, confidently stepping onto a dusty field and hitting a cricket ball out of the park.
Shooting for 'Peddi' is set to resume soon in Hyderabad after Ram Charan’s London trip. The event, held on May 10, 2025, was a star-studded affair attended by his family, including his father Chiranjeevi, mother Surekha, wife Upasana, and daughter Klin Kaara Konidela. What made the occasion even more special was the inclusion of a wax figure of his beloved pet dog, Rhyme, immortalised alongside them. The statues will now be moved to their permanent home at Madame Tussauds Singapore later this month.
