Featuring the legendary Mithun Chakraborty in the iconic role of Rahmat, the story delves deep into themes of human connection, memory, and the innocent bond between a man and a child.Set in a contemporary Bengali household while retaining the emotional essence of Tagore’s original work, the film explores the touching friendship between Rahmat, a dry-fruit seller from Afghanistan, and Mini, a spirited little girl. Alongside Mithun Chakraborty, the film stars Abir Chatterjee as Mini’s compassionate father, Sohini Sarkar as her affectionate mother, and Anumegha Kahali as young Mini.
